The Crux Escape Room Inc. is proud to present The Crux Escape Rooms and Gaming Lounge, located on the Hamilton Mountain, and St. Catharines, Ontario. The Crux is also proud to offer a team-building program for businesses that can include a number of our rooms, food, a team building seminar, and employer feedback.

Imagine; 2-6 players locked in a room. A narrative has been set. There are seemingly ordinary objects, 4 walls, a door, and a lock. Don't forget, there's a timer... Oh yes, ticking away... Start with 50 minutes, now its 45. Oh, you solved that puzzle? Well, now there's 30 minutes. What's that? You're stuck? 20... 15.... 10... Phew, glad you made it past that...Bzzzzzzzz.
I guess you didn't make it.
Loosely based on "escape the room" video games like The Castle of Dr. Brain, The 7th Guest, Maniac Mansion and many others. A player is locked in a room and must explore their surroundings to escape. Each of our games has a distinct theme, and puzzles that follow a narrative throughout the room.

The Crux Escape Rooms charges $26.55+HST per player. Most of our rooms are a minimum of 3 players per room. If you wish to play with only 2, each location has an option for you. Please call us at 1-855-374-2789 and we can advise you.

Premium rated 60 minute rooms are $28.32 per player plus HST

Gift vouchers are also available in store.

We generally maintain similar hours at each location, but each location does operate autonomously and is free to set hours as they see fit. As of June 1st, 2019 our hours are as follows

Walk-in availability will end 1 hour prior to last booking.

The Crux Escape Rooms requires each player to be above the age of 10. We also have a zero tolerance policy for players who show up intoxicated. Each player under the age of 16 will require an adult to sign a damage and liability waiver. An adult will also be required to remain on site for the duration of the experience.

The Crux reserves the right to remove any player from any game, at any time at the Game Master's discretion.

The Crux Escape Room is proud to present our corporate team building project. Contact us to discuss your specific teams needs. Generally we require a minimum of 2 weeks notice when booking team building.

We have partnered with local businesses to offer lunch and/or refreshments. Our lounge area is also available to your teams.

At this time, The Crux Escape Rooms Inc. can only donate to registered charities. If you are a registered charity, and have an upcoming fundraiser, please contact us and we will attempt to support however we can.

The Crux also runs periodic fundraisers with our Kennel game. If you would like to be considered for an in house fundraiser, please contact us as well.

We do not currently donate to stag & doe celebrations. Congratulations on your recent engagement, and we wish you the best of times in the future! We get hundreds of these requests each year, and it is impossible to support everyone so we have chosen to not donate at all in this case. Best of luck in your search!
